Interesting interviews with Gordon Chang, author of Nuclear Showdown and expert on North Korea. He believes the military will take over when KJ Il dies, that there is no way elder men, and mililtary leaders, will salute to a child. He feels KJ Il's time is very short, and if the military takes over, it will be more dangerous as it is the military, in his view, that has pushed all these tests.
Lawrence Eagleburger feels that NK should have been dealt with a decade ago, and not doing so we now find ourselves between a rock and a hard place with them. (Note: Learn this point in regards to Iran, Obama and gov't!!!) He said that the risk is NK using a nuclear attack on SK if the US moves at all towards the North Koreans. He said that NK could decimate the SK's. He feels that a quick decisive military attack is now the only option, but that with this current administration, they'll spend three years doing the same old little sanctions here and there. He said even if the the US goes it alone, it's the only option.
