Leaked WikiLeaks emails, focusing on how a U.S. intelligence agency works, reveals a cable that Israel destroyed Iranian’s nuclear infrastructure. However, other leaked cables indicated contradictory and sometimes wrong information.

The latest exposed documents focus on the U.S. intelligence company Stratfor and contain information that allegedly incriminates it for murky if not illegal operations.

One email dated November 7, 2011 states that Strafor thought that reports of Israel’s preparing to strike Iran were a diversion tactic and that “the Israelis already destroyed all the Iranian nuclear infrastructure on the ground weeks ago.”

The supposed preparations to attack Iran allegedly were staged for European Union leaders trying to divert attention from the EU’s economic problems.

Other leaked documents show wrong estimates, perhaps stated on purpose, concerning Iran’s nuclear ability, according to the Washington Post’s Greg Miller.

He wrote that a leaked cable by an American diplomat, dated in the year 2005, stated that Israeli officials thought Iran’s attempt to enrich uranium were near the “point of no return”. “The cable notes that Israeli ‘assessments from 1993 predicted that Iran would possess an atomic bomb by 1998 at the latest,’” Miller reported.

The importance of WikiLeaks has been pooh-poohed by the Atlantic’s international editor Max Fisher, who tweeted, “STRATFOR is a joke and so is WikiLeaks.”

Stratfor gathers intelligence for some of America’s largest companies. The firm refused to comment on the WikiLeaks documents, saying they were stolen and that it would not be intimidated. Stratfor allegedly paid government and diplomatic sources around the world for information, using an international network of agents, including journalists.

WikiLeaks said it has more than five million emails from Stratfor, based in Texas, dating from 2004 to 2011. “The emails show Stratfor’s web of informers, pay-off structure, payment-laundering techniques and psychological methods,” WikiLeaks stated.

Some of the documents expose alleged U.S. government and Stratfor’s attempts to attack and subvert WikiLeaks and its director Julian Assange.

Expert: There Will be No Choice, Other than to Attack Iran

Expert: There Will be No Choice, Other than to Attack Iran

Former Mossad official Eliezer Tsafrir: The sanctions won’t work. There will be no other choice other than to attack Iran.

By Elad Benari

First Publish: 2/27/2012, 12:13 AM

Former Mossad official Eliezer Tsafrir, who was the last person to serve in the agency’s office in Iran, said on Sunday he believes there will ultimately be no choice other than to launch a military strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Speaking to Arutz Sheva, Tsfarir said he believes the United States should be the one to carry out such a military strike, but added that if there is a feeling that no one is willing to attack Iran, then Israel will have no choice other than to do so itself.

Tsafrir, who in the past has served as the Prime Minister’s advisor on Arab affairs, also said that as an attack on Iran’s nuclear sites takes place, Iranian government sites should be attacked as well, thus allowing the Iranian people to take over their government centers and replace the current regime.

His remarks are being made ahead of a special conference at the Hebrew University’s Truman Institute, in which he will lecture on the issue of the attitudes of the Iranian people. He noted that he believes that almost all Iranian citizens who were born after the 1979 Islamic Revolution would like to see the country return to its status as an empire and in this spirit want to see the Islamic Republic having a nuclear capability. This desire, explained Tsafrir, is part of their greater desire for freedom and independence as they view them.

However, Tsafrir noted he believes the Iranian people are really unaware of the ramifications of a nuclear program on the international attitude towards their country, and do not know that the road to freedom does not pass through nuclear power. In order to explain this to them, he said, whoever decides to attack in Iran, preferably the Americans, will need to hold a massive public relations campaign prior to the attack, in order to clarify to the Iranian people the advantage such an action would have for them.

Tsafrir also said he is not hopeful that the Western sanctions on Iran will bring a stop to its nuclear activities.

“Sanctions will not help,” he said. “The Iranians are determined to obtain nuclear weapons. There is no choice other than a military strike. As an Israeli, I think it’s best that America do this, but if there is no other choice and no one will do it, Israel will have to do it.”

Does Rick Warren Still Get Dr. John Piper's Stamp of Approval?

Does Rick Warren Still Get Dr. John Piper’s “Stamp of Approval?”

Posted by Christine Pack

Many of us know by now that, in 2010, Dr. John Piper (author of Desiring God and pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church) gave his “stamp of approval” to Rick Warren by having Warren be a keynote speaker at Dr. Piper’s annual Desiring God conference. :dizzy:This was an event that caught many in evangelicalism off guard and resulted in a flurry of articles and blog posts over a number of months. The problem with Dr. Piper welcoming Rick Warren into the fold is that Dr. Piper has long been known as a champion and protector of the purity of the gospel message. He has served as a trusted church leader to whom many turned in an effort to get sound, biblical teaching. This is no small thing in today’s church community which is moving increasingly away from expositional teaching in favor of watered down, topical style preaching. So when Dr. Piper asked Rick Warren to be a keynote speaker at Desiring God’s annual conference, it was perceived by many to be analogous to the shepherd throwing open the gate to the sheep-fold and welcoming in the wolf, rather than protecting his flock from the wolf.

“Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.” Acts 20:28-31

But now there is a new issue. According to Erin Benziger’s recent article “Historic Interfaith Document” was “One Year in the Making,” Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church has been working on co-authoring a Muslim-Christian interfaith document (“King’s Way”) with the Islamic Center of Southern California (ICSC). According to Benziger’s article, this document has been “one year in the making,” and openly states that “The first step in the plan identifies the belief in one God.” So now I’m wondering what John Piper thinks about this Muslim-Christian interfaith document being drafted by his friend, Rick Warren? And in light of this document, does Dr. Piper still give Rick Warren his “stamp of approval?”

Saudi Arabia has declared war against the Islamic terror group al Qaed

Saudi Arabia has declared war against the Islamic terror group al Qaeda

February 27, 2012

The leadership of Saudi Arabia has been targeted by the Islamic terrorist group al Qaeda as have a number of Arab regimes in the Middle East and al Qaeda claims the reason for this focus on Arab leaders and their governments is because Arab leaders have become atheists and no longer abide under the leadership of Allah, the Islamic god. Al Qaeda points out that Saudi King Abdullah has implemented a massive building project in the heart of Mecca, the Moslem holy city, and al Qaeda jihadist websites are calling for the king to be killed saying that the death of this leader of atheism would be among the most pious acts for a Moslem. Meanwhile the Saudi kingdom has activated its powerful intelligence and security agencies to kill or capture its Islamist foes.

Jimmy’s Prophetic Prospective on the News

It is ironic that the founding nation for the Islamic faith, Saudi Arabia, has now called for the end of the Islamic jihadist group al Qaeda especially in light of the end time scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

The king of Saudi Arabia and and many of his family members are under the threat of death by the radical Islamic terror organization al Qaeda and basically because King Abdullah has become an atheist according to the al Qaeda leaders. Radical Islam has become more and more a threat to Arab leaders in the Middle East mainly because they are perceived to be secular and are even moving away from the Islamic faith and becoming atheists. Ironically, Saudi Arabia has been the home base and the financial provider for many of the most radical terror organizations including the group that brought down the twin towers on 9-11. It is also ironic that the Islamic faith was founded by Mohammad in the 7th century in Arabia and at that time Mohammad said that he was a direct descendant to Ishmael, the first son of the patriarch Abraham.

The Biblical record does reveal that Ishmael did go to start one nation in the place that we know today as Saudi Arabia (Genesis 25:18, 17:20). Ishmael did not father the Arab world according to Genesis 10:6-10 but he did father the Islamic faith according to its prophet. Ultimately Saudi Arabia will be radicalized and play a key role in the end time scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy – prophecy that will indeed be fulfilled.

Destruction of the Temple Mount Continues

Destruction of the Temple Mount Continues

[02.27.2012]

A “secret report” by a high level Israeli authority documents the Muslim religious authority (The WAQF) continuing its long standing project of destroying evidence of ancient Jewish artifacts on Judaism’s most holy site the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem.

“An investigative report by Yedioth Ahronoth revealed the ongoing failure of various Israeli authorities in safeguarding the rare archaeological treasures found on Temple Mount. Information elicited by the newspaper showed that the Waqf is consistently erasing any trace of Jewish history at the site.”

One Jerusalem helped bring to the public’s attention the destruction of the Temple Mount back in 2007. After the international outcry against this ongoing destruction project Israel’s Antiquities Authority promulgated rules to stop this practice.

But it appears that these rules are not being enforced and the destruction continues. The decision by a Knesset committee not to make public the Report raises more questions about what is going on in Jerusalem.

The Yedioth article includes this:

“These days too, three tractors are being used on Temple Mount,” Caspi says. “Construction materials are also continuing to be brought into Temple Mount in violation of police pledges…Temple Mount looks today like a construction materials’ warehouse…materials being brought in today will be used for illegal works tomorrow.”

CHAMELEON RICK WARREN/ Mr Piper?

CHAMELEON RICK WARREN

BY JUSTIN EDWARDS ∙ 27 FEBRUARY 2012

On the Orange County Register report regarding Rick Warren’s bridge building for Chrislam, Tony Miano writes:

I’ve watched interviews of and read works and comments by Rick Warren for two decades. And what I’ve discovered over that course of time is that Rick Warren is a chameleon. And I believe he is one of the most dangerous men in Christendom, today.

Plastic pastors transparent enough to see through, like Joel Osteen, are not as dangerous as Rick Warren. Modalistic moguls of the painfully-obvious-money-hungry prosperity movement, like T.D. Jakes, are not as dangerous as Rick Warren. Self-serving sorcerers of the false signs and wonders movement, like Todd Bentley, are not as dangerous as Rick Warren. No. None of the before-mentioned personalities or groups are all that dangerous because what you see is what you get. They all lack the ability to change their appearance to accommodate a change in environment. They lack the chameleon-like ability, the self-serving ability, to says what needs to be said in order to keep people in every camp liking them.

Rick Warren is a chameleon.

The rest of Tony’s article can be found on his blog. View article →http://crossencounters.blogspot.com/2012/02/theres-lion-on-ground.html

This news, then, raises the question – will John Piper still consider Rick Warren to be theologically and doctrinally sound? Will Piper stand by his 2010 comment on Rick Warren, where he said:

I do think he’s deeply theological. He’s a brilliant man. He wouldn’t have the church he does or the Peace Plan, or all the influence he does and of course the greatest sentence in the Purpose Driven Life is the first one isn’t it? It’s not about you, it’s about God. The Glory of God. So I don’t think he’s emergent. At root I think he is theological and doctrinal and sound.

By John Horton, The Plain Dealer

CHARDON, Ohio — Four students have been injured in a shooting this morning at Chardon High School.

According to the Geauga County Sheriff’s office and the FBI, a suspect has been arrested. Scott Wilson of the FBI said that at this point they believe there was only one shooter, but the incident remains under investigation.

The youth who was arrested had fled the high school building, but was caught on Woodin Road in Chardon Township, a law officer said. The boy is being processed at the sheriff’s office, according to reports about 9 a.m.

Both the sheriff’s office and Wilson declined to provide further detail of the events that unfolded in the high school cafeteria about 7:45 a.m.

A local official said three boys and a girl were injured. Four ambulances — from Chardon, Kirtland, Burton and Chesterland — arrived at the school just after 8. Sources said three of the students were flown to the trauma center at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.

The school was immediately put on lockdown but parents are lined up near the campus now to pick up their children. Parents crowded outside the school said they started receiving text messages from children before 8.

Historic Interfaith Document was One Year in the Making

“Historic Interfaith Document” was “One Year in the Making”

27 February 2012

From the December 2011 archives of the blog of the Islamic Center of Southern California:

Last Sunday, a historic event took place at Saddleback Church in Orange County, California. Saddleback is known for its famous pastor, Rick Warren, who delivered the prayer at President Obama’s inauguration ceremony. The Church hosted a number of Muslim communities in based in Southern California for its second annual celebration of Jesus (pbuh). This event is significant because Saddleback is a large evangelical church with over 22 thousand members. Although only a select number of individuals were invited to this dinner, it demonstrates the new theological position of Saddleback. At the celebration, a document one year in the making was presented which encourages Christians and Muslims to appreciate the similarities of our faiths.

The document encouraged that our communities work together towards the common good and to combat bigotry in a 1-2-3 plan. The first step in the plan identifies the belief in one God. The second step acknowledges God’s commandment to love God and your neighbor. Finally, step three is for our communities to commit to three things: making friends, building peace, and serving the world at large together.

This relationship with Saddleback Church was initiated over a year ago with a friendship between one of the pastors, Abraham Meulenberg, and the ICSC’s Jihad Turk. Pastor Meulenberg reached out having heard about the Center and our interfaith work. From this friendship developed an institutional link between their respective organizations.

(Online Source, emphasis added)

As stated in yesterday’s post, while Islam may bow to one god, and Christianity serves one God, these two are not the same God. As was also mentioned yesterday on this blog, the idea of “love God, love your neighbor” is not the Gospel. Indeed, as emphasized above, this recent step taken by Saddleback church does reveal “the new theological position of Saddleback.” Yet, can it really be said that this is a new position? After all, did not Rick Warren stand before a room of Muslims in 2009 and declare:

You know that obviously as an evangelical pastor, my deepest faith is in Jesus Christ. But you also need to know that I am committed not just what I call the “Good News,” but I am committed to the common good. And as the Scripture says “Love your neighbor as yourself.” I am commanded to love and I am commanded to respect everybody. Everybody. Now I was asked to speak to you about how Muslims and Christians can work closer together for the greater good, in our world. And I will tell you that I am not interested in interfaith dialogue, I am interested in interfaith projects. There is a big difference. Talk is very cheap. And you can talk and talk and talk and not get anything done. Love is something you do. It is something that we do together. Love is a verb. Now as the two largest faiths on this planet, Muslims and Christians, we must lead in this. We must lead. With over one billion Muslims, and over 2 billion Christians, together, as half the world, we have to do something, about modeling what it means to live in peace, to live in harmony.

(Online Source)

Sadly, Rick Warren is not only deceiving millions, but he appears to be deceiving himself as well. For all of the talk of “loving neighbor,” if he truly did care for his Muslim neighbors, he would reach out to them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, even if it meant that his beloved P.E.A.C.E. plan would cease to flourish. If, as a Christian saved by Jesus Christ, Rick Warren truly felt love and compassion for those trapped in the false religion of Islam, then even the mere thought of affirming belief in a shared god would cause him to tremble. Rick Warren’s actions display both a misunderstanding and a lack of true Christian love.

Instead, what Rick Warren is propagating is the dangerous practice of ecumenism. Performed in the name of “peace” and “unity,” ecumenism is perhaps one of the greatest dangers to the church today. We are not called to join hands with false religions in any spiritual enterprise. Rather, Scripture commands against this, for it is an abomination to the one and only true and living God.

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you, and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.” (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)

http://revelation22-20.blogspot.com/2012/02/historic-interfaith-document-was-one.html

So, John Piper.. is Rick Warren your “brother in Christ” as you say he is?

‘you still affirm his doctrinal stance?
